My very good friend Gregory works for the State Department, covering Eastern Europe doing security stuff and whatnot. I would love to provide a link to his blog, but unfortunately, he does not have one. This is a real shame, because when he goes on work trips he sends us (his friends and family) these awesome emails about all the stuff he sees and experiences. He’s a good writer, and funny, and his blog would certainly be an international sensation.
Anyway, he is right now somewhere in Eastern Europe… and I think he’s been checking in, because my blog stats showed someone reading in Macedonia earlier today or late yesterday.
Gregory, I have two questions for you. First of all, what the hell is going on in Belgrade? And you’re not planning to go there, are you?!?

Really, Greg, a bombing in Belgrade and no email from you? Dave and I have been worried, checking all your prior emails to make sure there was no mention of you going to Serbia. Send us SOMETHING to let us know you’re okay.
