About

My name’s Lisa. I have two kids, and a dog, and a husband… not really in that order. I’ve got two college degrees and after spending a bunch of years in Corporate America I decided recently that staying home with my kids could be fun. I take photographs. I have made quilts, and hope, when I do not have very little children around to mess with it, to make a few more before I die.

  1. I made a quilt for my niece when she was born. I loved every minute of it. (The quilting, not the birth.) I can’t wait to start another one but I’m afraid I won’t love it as much as my first quilt, kind of like having a second kid, I guess. 🙂

  2. Lisa,

I am curious. I noted where you called Alabama a “wretched state,” without any particular reason except there may be a law preventing the sale of sex toys in that state. Surely this alone does not make a state wretched. The legislation of morals thing is a HUGE issue. But then you know that. Humans have attempted to legislate or at least govern morals since the code of Hamurabi’s Code and who knows how early in Asian culture. I am sincerely curious why do you note Alabama as a wretched state.

Please respond to my email address, I may never find my way here again.

    Respectfully,

  3. Hi Chip,

I’ll send you an email too, but my referral to Alabama as a wretched state was solely due to their legislation against sex toys.

If they also outlawed handheld shower massages I would have to put Alabama on my “dead to me” list.
